Chenhamo "Chen" Chakezha Chimutengwende is the Minister of State for Public and Interactive Affairs for Zimbabwe.[1] and a longstanding supporter of Robert Mugabe. According to tiscali.news on 31 March 2008 he lost his parliamentary seat in the recent election.

Chimutengwende lived in exile in London in the 1960s and 70s where he directed the Europe-Africa Research Project from a basement in Gower Street. During his time in London he was also credited with drafting of the controversial document designed to subjugate the Ndebele tribe called The 1979 Grand Plan. He was a member of the editorial board of the Red Mole - a paper closely associated with the International Marxist Group. A staunch supporter of Mao's China, he resigned from the editorial board when the paper criticised Mao's policies with regard to the Bangladesh Liberation War of 1971.
