The Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company is the largest
natural gas distributor inBangladesh , with an 80% market share. As of 2005, they employed 2,678 staff (1,975 regular employees and 700 officials) and served 987,507 domestic customers, 7,947 commercial customers, and 3,046 industrial customers.
