The Hon. Joseph Martin "Joe" Riordan AO (born
27 February 1930 ) is a formerAustralia n politician and briefly government minister.Riordan was born in
Sydney and educated at Patrician Brothers School and Marist Borther College. He married Patricia Watkins in 1955—they have four sons and two daughters. He was Federal Secretary of the Federated Clerks' Union from 1958 to 1972.cite book
