Joseph Mary Mooney (died 21 January 1988), known as Joe Mooney, was a Fianna Fáil politician from County Leitrim in Ireland who served as a senator for 4 years.cite web |url=http://www.oireachtas.ie/members-hist/default.asp?housetype=1&HouseNum=10&MemberID=1534&ConstID=210 |title=Mr. Joseph M. A member of Leitrim County Council from 1943 to 1988, he was elected in 1961 to the 10th Seanad Éireann, but did not context the 1965 election to the 11th Seanad.
