November 5 ,1968 to select six Representatives for two-year terms from the state ofSouth Carolina . Theprimary election s were held onJune 11 and the runoff elections were held two weeks later onJune 25 . All five incumbents who ran were re-elected and the open seat in the 5th district was retained by the Democrats.
