The South Carolina Department of Education - Instructional Television (SCDE ITV) team, part of the Office of eLearning [http://ed.sc.gov/agency/standards-and-larning/e-learning/] , works closely with South Carolina Educational Television (ETV) [ [http://www.myetv.org MyETV - South Carolina ETV and Radio ] ] to provide ITV resources and services to South Carolina public schools. ITV is responsible for the selection of video-based resources, the development of local programming to support the states K-12 curriculum, and the scheduling of the approved resources. ETV provides expert production and technical delivery services to support instructional programming. K-12 and Professional Development resources are now delivered both by broadcast through the ETV satellite system and online via StreamlineSC [ [http://www.myetv.org/education/streamlinesc/ ETV StreamlineSC Home page ] ] .
ITV has produced with ETV award-winning series such as "Project Discovery" and "Eye Wonder". South Carolina focued resources including "Detective Bonz", "the SC History Mystery" and "Idella Bodie's SC Women Series" are utilized to support the curriculum.
