Baraderes (Creole: "Baradè") is a town in Nippes Department in the South East of Haiti. It is vulnerable to flooding and is accessible via a rocky dirt road. The road has just been improved, but it is still only accessible by lorries or four wheel drive vehicles. It is also accessible by boat from Petite Trou de Nippes. It has a picturesque market square with a large church. There are few shops and no hotels. The river mouth is being blocked by erosion from the surrounding hillsides caused by deforestation.
