Fabien Lévy (born
December 11 ,1968 ) is a French composer. He studied withGérard Grisey at theConservatoire de Paris . In 2004 he shared theErnst von Siemens Music Prize in composition withJohannes Maria Staud andEnno Poppe . A former pedagogical advisor atIRCAM in Paris and professor fororchestration at theBerlin Hanns-Eisler conservatory , he is currently assistant professor in composition atColumbia University in New York.Catalog (excerpt)
