Boone County High School

Boone County High School is located in Florence, Kentucky. The school was opened in 1954. The school mascot is the Rebel.

Boys Soccer Team

The boys soccer program is a program with high standards. Current coaches are David Jones Varsity Coach. Scott Sutter JV Coach. Nathan Browning Assistant Coach. With JV winning second in the bluegrass games and Varsity winning first, the rest of the season is coming fast and is with Boone as hopefuls. We have many college caliber players. The team is hoping for a huge crowd and a great season.

Girls Soccer Team

The girls soccer progam is a wonderful place to meet new people and enjoy through your high school career. The Coach is Mike Hughes. In the 2007-2008 season the varsity team won districts. Beating their rivals, St. Henry and Ryle.

Wrestling Team

In 2008 Boone County High School reintroduced their wrestling program. The last program ended in the 1990s when a coaching scandal ended the championship winning program. Mick Raney, a former Boone County wrestler, reformed the team, and Andy Shurlock, a former Cambell County wrestler coached.
