Overview

Boone Grove High School includes grades 9-12. In 1913, the first 4-year commissioned high school was built in Boone Grove. The current Boone Grove High School opened in 1995 and is located at 260 S 500 W in Valparaiso, Indiana. Principal Garry DeRossett has been with the school for 5 years. The school's colors include Royal Blue and White. The mascot is the Wolves; athletic teams participate in the Porter County Conference (PCC).

Academic Schedule

Boone Grove High School has 32 teachers. The average faculty member has 16 years of experience. Over half of the teaching staff hold masters or doctoral degrees. Boone Grove High School has eleven academic departments: Science, Social Studies, English, Math, Art, Life Skills, Business, Music, Industrial Technology, Physical Education, and Foreign Language. Boone Grove High School strives to meet the Indiana Academic Standards when planning out curriculum for students. Text books are chosen based on these standards. The school operates on 9 week grading periods. Courses are offered to help students achieve Core 40 and the Academic Honors Diploma.
