Joseph Chamberlain Sixth Form College is located in Birmingham. It is a college which offers many courses for students aged between 16 and 19 years. It also has courses for adults aged above 19 years of age and vocational programmes as well. Some courses are offered on a part-time basis and others are full-time courses. Advanced Levels, GCSE, BTEC National Diplomas and English as an Additional Language (EAL) are some of the courses offered at the college.
Several subjects are offered at the Advanced Levels such as Accounting, Business, Media, Philosophy, Statistics and Theatre Studies. GCSE subjects include Biology, English Language, Mathematics, Religious Studies and Sociology. Several vocational courses are offered at Joseph Chamberlain Sixth Form College in various areas. Some are Art and Design, Early Years, Nursery Nursing, Performance Arts and Teaching Assistant. The EAL programme offered by the college is useful for students coming from all over the world for whom English is a foreign language. The courses start from the beginner’s level and can be studied up to the IELTS level which is for University Entrance. Students can take the EAL course in conjunction with any of the other courses which are suitable to them.
Joseph Chamberlain Sixth Form College offers a range of adult education courses which are held in the college campus as well as other locations in the community. Classes are held in local primary schools, churches and even temples.

Awards
Her Majesty The Queen, on the advice of the Prime Minister, has approved the award of her Anniversary Prize for Higher and Further Education to Joseph Chamberlain Sixth Form College.
The announcement was made at St James’s Palace at 7pm on Thursday 15th November, 2007.
Joseph Chamberlain Sixth Form College is one of twenty universities and colleges across the United Kingdom to receive The Queen’s Anniversary Prize for Higher and Further Education.
The awards are given to recognise the outstanding work of universities and colleges to support the United Kingdom’s reputation as a world class provider of education.
Joseph Chamberlain was the only sixth form college in the UK to be on the list of prize winners and it is particularly pleasing that a sixth form college was recognised for its outstanding contribution to education.
The College is now a recipient of the Queen’s Anniversary Prize and a Grade One (outstanding) classification from OfSTED.
