"Harlem Music" is a 2008 hip-hop album by rapper Cam'ron. As of now, there is not set release date, the album is expected to be released in early first quarter of 2008, however.

History

"Harlem Music" was originally set to be released in 2006 under the title "Shade Of Black". However, Cam'ron felt Asylum grossly mis-promoted his latest studio album, Killa Season which ultimately resulted in Cam'ron moving himself and the rest of the Diplomats to SRC Records. In early 2007, Cam'ron involved himself in a public feud against fellow New York City rapper, 50 Cent. This prompted Cam'ron to rename his forthcoming album "Courtesy Curtis". Cam'ron later passed this off as a publicity stunt, however.

Featured Guests

This will be the first studio album by Cam'ron that will not feature Jim Jones. As of now, it is unconfirmed if Cam'ron will include the rest of the Diplomats on "Harlem Music", save for Juelz Santana who has confirmed that he has recorded multiple verses for "Harlem Music" but also will be on at least one confirmed track. "Harlem Music" will feature guest appearances from artists who don't normally collaborate with Dipset artists which include, but are not limited too, Jadakiss, Papoose, Fabolous and "All Star". Cam'ron has also stated that "Harlem Music" will feature guest appearances from "Penz" and "Tom Gist", who were the two predominant artists featured on his mixtape, "Public Enemy #1".
