Dallas, Texas ) is an Americanice dancer . With partner and husbandDaniil Barantsev , she is the 2007Nebelhorn Trophy champion. Wester teamed up with Barantsev in 2003. They were married on May 6th, 2006.Career
Wester began her career as a shooter and over her career, she has won eight national titles in silhouette rifle marksmanship. She began skating as cross-training for shooting, but eventually changed her focus to skating.
Wester competed on the junior level with
Jonathan Harris . After Barantsev moved to the United States, he and Wester were teamed up by their then-coach, Nikolai Morozov.Although Wester and Barantsev had done well on the national level, they were unable to compete internationally until the 2007/2008 season because the Russian federation refused to give Barantsev a release. He finally obtained it in 2007 and they began representing the United States internationally later that year.
