Manuel de Godoy di Bassano y Tudó, 2nd Prince of Godoy of Bassano

Don Manuel Luis de Godoy di Bassano y Tudó, Álvarez de Faria y Cathalán (Madrid, March 29, 1805 – Madrid, August 24, 1871) was a Spanish and Italian aristocrat, son of Manuel de Godoy and second wife Josefa Petra Francisca de Paula (Pepita) de Tudó y Cathalán, Alemany y Luecia.

He inherited his mother's titles and / or representations and solely his father's Italian title, the one which could only be used through male line, and was 2nd Principe de Godoy di Bassano, 2nd Conde de Castillo Fiel with a Coat of Arms of de Tudó (of which was passed a successory Royal Order on October 28, 1870, not getting to receive Royal Dispatch for having died almost subsequently), Knight of the Habit of the Order of Santiago (1867) and of St. John of Jerusalem, Commander of the Order of Christ in Rome, etc.

Marriage and children

He married "dona" María Carolina Crowe y O'Donovan, O'Neill y ............. (? – Paris, December 4, 1878), an Irish-Spanish, and had four children:

*Dona María Luisa Cristina (Marie Louise Christine) de Godoy di Bassano y Crowe, de Tudó y O'Donovan (Marseille, January 12/21, 1839 – Paris, January 28, 1880), married firstly in Paris, August 4, 1859 HSH Ernest Alexandre Louis Charles Napoléon Auguste Prinz von Looz und Corswarem (September 5, 1834 – December 12, 1868), son of HSH Charles Franz Wilhelm Ferdinand 6th Herzog von Looz und Corswarem, and wife Hermine Anna Gertrude Jacqueline Baronne van Lockhorst, and had three children, secondly William Abbott, without issue, and thirdly Richard Seaver, Major of the British Army, without issue:
