Tan Sri Mohd Saleh bin Sulong is married to Puan Sri Akmal Abdul Salam. In the year 2005, he resigned from DRB-HICOM Berhad.

As a key of love to his wife, he bought a land/house in Section 7, Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia worth estimated MYR 5,000,000.00. The property is named Villamay, and is managed by Beauty Unlimited Malaysia Sdn. Bhd, a company owned by Puan Sri Akmal Abdul Salam. Currently, the villa is use to run a wedding-consulting business.

Tan Sri Mohd Saleh bin Sulong and family also have another house nearby in Section 4, Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia.
