Wythenshawe and Sale East is a parliamentary constituency in the city of Manchester. It returns one Member of Parliament (MP) to the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom, elected by the first past the post system.

Boundaries

The seat contains the massive post-war built council estate in Wythenshawe (once the biggest in Europe), eight miles south of Manchester city centre, and the suburban, more middle-class areas of Sale to Wythenshawe's West. Wards like Benchill have their share of social and economic problems, and are safe Labour holdings, enough to make this a secure seat for them at Westminster, despite Conservative voters in East Sale.
