Route

While specific route alignment details has not been announced, indications of approximate routing has been published earlier in the Urban Redevelopment Authority's Singapore Concept Plan 2001http://www.ura.gov.sg/gallery/images/2001YearXConceptPlanA3.pdf] . The indicated route would commence from Admiralty Road West in northern Singapore and proceed southwards along Gambas Avenue, Sembawang Road, Lentor Ave, Marymount Road, Thomson Road, Bukit Timah Road and Ophir Road before merging with the western end of the East Coast Parkway (ECP) at the Benjamin Sheares Bridge (after a section of the ECP from the bridge to the Ayer Rajah Expressway becomes downgraded into a normal road). En-route, there will be intersections with the Seletar Expressway, Pan Island Expressway, and the Central Expressway.cite news|url=http://www.straitstimes.com/STI/STIMEDIA/image/20080131/ST8001309800130901_01_0001.jpg|publisher=The Straits Times|date=2008-01-31|title=More travelling options up north]
