Talaat Moustafa (Arabic: طلعت مصطفى ) (July 6, 1926 - February 28 2005) was chairman and founder of The Talaat Moustafa Group.

The Talaat Moustafa Group is one of the biggest companies in Egypt today. The group has a total of 23 companies and employs more than 10,000 people.

The second branch of he Talaat Moustafa Group is the agriculture branch which is managed and looked after by his second eldest son, Hani Talaat Moustafa.

The last, but certainly not least, major branch in The Talaat Moustafa Group is the real estate branch. This branch was managed and built up by the youngest son, Hisham Talaat Moustafa, who is a member of the Egyptian senate. Hisham enjoyed huge successes with this branch during the recent real estate boom in Egypt, becoming one of the most powerful men in Egypt. However, in September of 2008, Hisham was arrested and charged with the murder of Lebanese actress Suzanne Tamim. Hisham stepped down, and Tarek assumed his position.

The Talaat Moustafa group owns the biggest resort in Egypt, El-Rehab, and other major resorts. TMG has opened three Four Seasons Hotels in Egypt and is working on a major resort in Marsa Alam. Recently, in July 2006, The Talaat Moustafa Group started on the Madinaty project which occupies 8,000 feddans. Madinaty will be the biggest all inclusive city in the Middle East.
