Margarita Khromova-Ponomaryova (Russian: Маргарита Хромова-Пономарева; born June 19, 1963) is a retired hurdler from Russia, best known for setting the world record in the women's 400 metres hurdles in 1984. She was born in Balkhash.

She won the bronze medal in the women's 400m hurdles event at the 1993 World Championships in Stuttgart, Germany. Born in Kazakhstan she represented the Unified Team at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain.
