W.A. Heritage Trails Network

1988

The network of heritage trails in Western Australia was initially funded by the Australian Commonwealth/ State Bicentennial Commemorative Program.It was for the 1988 Australian Bicentenary of Australia.

The production of signage and literature from the 1988 celebrations set significant standards for heritage identification for the state of Western Australia.

Current

The network is now overseen by the Heritage Council of Western Australia
