Craig F. Cullinan, Jr. , founding president of theHouston Astros Major League Baseball club, who purchased him as a yearling at the Keeneland Sales for $72,000. Cullinan raced him through 1972 then sold him toAllaire du Pont who raced him in 1973 under her Bohemia Stable banner. King's Bishop won several importantGraded stakes race s and retired with a record of eleven wins in twenty-eight starts.References
