David Vestal

David Vestal (born 1924) is an American photographer, critic, and teacher, of the New York School.^[1] He was the recipient of John Simon Guggenheim Fellowships in 1966 and 1973.^[2] Vestal's publications include The Art of Black and White Enlarging (1984)^[3] and The Craft of Photography.^[4] His column, "Vestal at Large," is a regular feature in "Photo Techniques Magazine."^[5]
