About

Britto Arts Trust is an artist-led nonprofit organization located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Britto was founded in 2002 by Imran Hossain Piplu, Tayeba Begum Lipi, Mahbub ur Rahman , Salahuddin Khan Srabon, Kabir Ahmed Masum Chisty and Shishir Bhattacharjee. Britto holds workshops, and hosts international artist residencies as part of the Triangle Arts Trust.

Britto Arts Trust provides opportunities for artists within Bangladesh, where chances to experiment and engage with contemporary art practice are limited. Britto provides documentation for educational and international outreach programs, including artist catalogs and video documentation.
