The National Algae Association is a United States trade organization for renewable energy companies and researchers involved in the production and distribution of biofuels made from algae.
Created in January 2008 and headquartered in Houston, Texas[1][2], the association seeks to coordinate research and development efforts for commercial algal fuel applications. It also hosts conferences for the presentation of scientific papers on algal fuel.[3]
