History
*May 1, 1911: Fujioka Signal Station of JNR opened.
*April 1, 1922: Renamed to Fujioka Signal Ground.
*August 1, 1944: Upgraded to the station. Only the military personnel could use this station.
*November 11, 1944: Started passenger services for general citizens.
*March 5, 1946: Started baggage-handling services.
*February 1, 1971: Along with division and privatization of JNR, Central Japan Railway Company started operating this station.
*1990: Facilities for train crossing built.
