Ilavali

Ilavali (Tamil: இளவாலை - "இளம் மாது" -Young Female) is a small coastal village located in "(Valigamam North)" Jaffna,Sri Lanka. It is 16km from the Northern Capital towards north of the Jaffna Peninsula and 8km from the port town of Kankesanthurai.

It contains many Hindu temples and Christian churches. One of the oldest is St. Anne's church, which is situated in the center of the village (Ilavalai Junction).
