"Watch Over You" is a power ballad by American hard rock band Alter Bridge, featured on the band's second album "Blackbird" in 2007. The song is one of the softer songs on "Blackbird" and has a much lighter tone than other songs on the album. On January 2, 2008, the song was announced to be the third single off the album after "Ties That Bind". Although "Watch Over You" will be the third single, "Ties That Bind" was only released in the United Kingdom. Therefore, "Watch Over You" will be Alter Bridge's second single released worldwide. The song debuted at #30 on the Mainstream Rock Chart and is one of the band's most popular songs.

A new duet version was recorded with Cristina Scabbia of Lacuna Coil and currently is going to be released in Germany/Italy. It is not known yet if it will be released worldwide. The duet version is currently on the band's [http://www.myspace.com/alterbridge MySpace] page.
