Seojeongni Station is the station in 427-1 Seojeong dong, Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province of South Korea. Trains of Gyeongbu Line and Mugunghwa-ho stop here. Additionally, Seoul Subway Line 1 has been in operation since 2005. Its secondary name is Gukje College(International college in Eng.)

History

The station is older than many other stations. It opened on the first day of 1905.

On Jan 20th of 2005, Seoul Subway Line 1 started local service.

Places

Gukje College is nearby. This area was designated by a city plan as a development area. ["롯데건설, 평택 서정동에 274가구 분양" Naeil Newspaper 2007.08.24] Its neighborhood is also part of a Pyeongtaek construction zone, which also includes: Seojeong dong, Jangdangdong, Mogok dong and Jijedong. Located near the station are many shops and vendors. Official plans for a "new city" have been announced and new construction will end 2009 and then apartments will be put up for sale.
