Alden Pasche ( –
9 May ,1985 ) was the first head coach of theHouston Cougars men's basketball team from 1946 to 1956. Pasche was also one of only two assistant coaches for the University of Houston's first football team in 1946 as the line coach. Also while at the university, Pasche served as an associate professor of health and physical education.
