Apostolic Nunciature to Australia

The Nunciature to Australia is an ecclesiastical office of the Roman Catholic Church in Australia. It is a diplomatic post of the Holy See, whose representative is called the Apostolic Nuncio to Australia with the rank of an ambassador. The office of the nunciature is located in Manuka.

The nunciature was erected by Pope Pius X on April 15, 1914, with Archbishop Bonaventura Cerretti as its first head. The current Apostolic Nuncio to Australia is "His Excellency" Giuseppe Lazzarotto, who was appointed by Pope Benedict XVI on December 22, 2007.
