Anadia (pron. IPA2|ɐnɐ'diɐ) is a municipality in Portugal with a total area of 216.6 km² and a total population of 31,622 inhabitants, and 26,915 electors. The city of Anadia is part of Arcos parish. The city, itself has a population of 3,034,while Arcos parish about 5,005. Anadia is in the heart of Bairrada,between Aveiro and Coimbraa fertile agro-viniculture area, which includes the municipalaties of Agueda,Anadia,Cantanhede, Mealhada and Oliveira do Bairro.

Anadia municipality (Pt. municipio or concelho) has one city(cidade):Anadia (,which is in the parish(freguesia) of Arcos)and one town(vila):Sangalhos.
Curia,a village in Tamengos parish is a popular touristic spa with hotels, restaurants and a "jardim" (garden/park) with a lagoon.Train stations @ Mogofores, Paraimo/Sangalhos & apeadeiros [brief stop/local trains] @ :Curia & Aguim.
