Stephan Morais

Born in London, England (October, 27,1973), the son of Portuguese internationally minded lawyers , Stephan Godinho Lopes Morais is a European business management executive, entrepreneur and investor.

Raised in Lisbon, Portugal, he attended two of the top rated rated schools in the country, Colégio Sagrado Coração de Maria [http://www.cscm-lx.pt] and Colégio Valsassina [http://www.cvalsassina.pt] . A Civil Engineer, Stephan graduated from Portugal's largest and most respected engineering institute, the Instituto Superior Técnico [http://www.ist.utl.pt] in Lisbon,Class of 1996, having spent the last semester at the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées [École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées - http://www.enpc.fr/] [http://www.enpc.fr/] in Paris, France

He initiated his international career at Halcrow Group Limited [http://www.halcrow.com] [Halcrow Group Engineering Consultancy - http://www.halcrow.com/] in the UK, and was quickly assigned to international privatizations projects in Mozambique, Pakistan, Panama and Chile given his diverse language skills. He later moved back to London at the invitation of Arthur Andersen [http://www.andersen.com] Business Consulting, to integrate the Energy and Utilities team as a Senior Consultant.

Awarded the Sainsbury Management fellowship [Sainsbury Management Fellows' Society - http://www.smf.org.uk] while attending to the Harvard Business School [http://www.hbs.edu/] [Harvard Business School - http://www.hbs.edu/] in Boston, where he graduated in 2002.

Stephan was subsequently a consultant to the Portuguese Government [http://www.portugal.gov.pt/] for the privatization of a main State investing conglomerate, IPE, and for the draft of the country's National Energy policy. Having joined Energias de Portugal [http://www.edp.pt] [Energias de Portugal - http://www.edp.pt] in 2003 as Chief of Staff of the President he was subsequently appointed Managing Director of the Bilbao based Naturgas Energia Servicios [http://www.naturgasenergia.com] [Naturgas Energia - http://www.naturgasenergia.com] .

Specialized in Private Equity investments while attending Harvard, Stephan went on to buyout Temahome [http://www.temahome.com] , the largest Portuguese furniture design and manufacturing company, with a group of other Portuguese investors and the company's management team in 2006.

Currently, Stephan lives in Lisbon, Portugal is the CEO of Temahome, and Non-Executive President of Light Models [http://www.lightmodels.pt/] , a modeling and celebrity management agency he founded in 2007 with other investors.
