CKCX are the call letters used for the
Canadian Broadcasting Corporation 'sshortwave transmitter complex nearSackville, New Brunswick at theTantramar Marshes . The Sackville Relay Station is operated byRadio Canada International and broadcasts its programming around the world as well as relay transmissions from several foreign shortwave broadcasters. Domestically, it transmits broadcasts to northern Quebec byCBC North , theJames Bay Cree Communications Society andTaqramiut Nipingat Inc., the Inuit communications society of theNunavik region of northern Quebec. The CBC advises that the frequencies will be used a few hours a day and only during certain months of the year.
