Childhood and education

While in Italy, Scarbo worked as a trend analyst for Mauro Taliani Design Studio. Inspired by her studies in Italy, Scarbo began her own clothing line, Kit Pistol, in 2004. She showed a design house in the 2006 GenARt New Guarde exhibition. Her other exhibitions were shown at Redbull Ascension F05, Beautiful Fighter Gallery Instillation S06 and BoxEight Collective @ LA Theater F07.

In 2007 Scarbo was a contestant on the fourth season of "
Project Runway ", a reality show on Bravo in which designers compete against each other in various fashion challenges to win $100,000 to create their own fashion line and other prizes. Scarbo was eliminated in the show's eighth episode.References
