Two ships of the Royal Australian Navy have been named HMAS "Moresby", after Captain (later Admiral) John Moresby

* The first HMAS "Moresby" (1918) was a 24-class sloop serving with the Royal Navy from 1918 to 1925 as HMS "Silvio", and with the Royal Australian Navy from 1925 to 1946
* The second HMAS "Moresby" (1963) was a unique survey vessel of the Royal Australian Navy, serving from 1963 until 1998 before entering civilian service

In addition, one ship of the Royal Navy has held this name

* HMS "Moresby", a destroyer serving in World War I
