Maginot Line . It was located between the "gros ouvrage" Latiremont and the "petit ouvrage" Bois du Four, facing theBelgium /Luxembourg border.The "petit ouvrage" was unusually powerfully equipped, with a 135mm gun turret and two 75mm gun turrets.
In 1940 the "ouvrage" was regularly bombarded, but not directly attacked by German infantry.
