Goodenow

Goodenow is an unincorporated area near where the Calumet Expressway and Route 1 combine in Will County, Illinois. It is in a rural area with the closest town being Crete, Illinois and the next probably being Beecher. It is very wooded and contains many houses on wooden lots with a lot of land. To the north of the area is the Plum Creek Nature Preserve, which contains Goodenow Grove probably named after the area. To the south, it is open farmfields for a couple miles until you get to the town of Beecher. The town lies on the Valparaiso Moraine.
