Staple station (TR 275 578 Coord|51.273907|1.260286|display=inline|format=dms) was a station on the East Kent Light Railway. It opened on October 16 1916 and closed to passenger traffic on October 30 1948. The station served the village of StapleThere was a windpump supplying the water tower, a passing loop and four sidings. During World War Two, a large munitions dump was set up at Staple and a large calibre rail mounted gun stabled there.
