Vladimir Samsonov

Vladimir Samsonov (born April 17 1976) is a Belarusian professional table tennis player, currently ranked fifth in the world. He is known in China as the "Tai Chi Master" because of his superb defensive style and is considered one of the few European players who pose a threat to Chinese dominance of the game, having most recently beat world number one Wang Hao in the 2008 Kuwait Open.
