The Zoo is a Filipino rock band formed in 2006 [ [http://profiles.friendster.com/zooband Friendster - Zoo Band ] ] in Manila, Philippines, managed by TV producer and manager, Bert de Leon. The Zoo launched the international career of Arnel Pineda, their former lead singer, who is now the lead singer of Journey [ [http://www.philippinestoday.net/index.php?module=article&view=791 Filipino singers breaking into international stardom - Philippines Today ] ] . In January 2008, following the departure of Pineda to Journey, The Zoo recruited Reujen Lista to take over the lead vocalist slot.
