display=40" Projection, (Raster)beatmania IIDX 7th Style introduced Daninintei (Class) mode for the first time. It also changed the 5-key mode from a distinct play mode to a modifier (which allowed Light7 and Another charts to be played on 5 keys). 7th Style also introduced a newer, more challenging method for obtaining the Extra Stage.
Home version
beatmania IIDX 7th Style: Direct port of the arcade version, with two preview songs from 8th and 9th Style, as well as some revivals. 5-Key was left as a mode instead of a modifier (unlike the arcade version), and unlike future home releases, the special Extra Stage methods were not present. Masters Mode was also introduced as a modified version of Survival Mode.
