Chalong Chai

Chalong Chai, also known as The Tigerpitt, is a Muay Thai and Mixed Martial Arts training camp located in Phuket Thailand. The name Chalong comes from Phuket's largest Buddhist temple Wat Chalong where the Gym is located. Chai is a way to say win, or victory in Thai. Chalong Chai was started by Sean Douglas and his wife Paweena (Bo) in August 2006. Chalong Chais MMA program is led by Relson Gracie, son of Helio Gracie, the founder of Brazillan Jui-Jitsu, while the muay Thai program is led by Sean Douglas. The gym has produced several champions including Aaron Fisher, a two time USA champion.

Chalong Chai has an international fight team that fights around the world in events such as King of the Cage, WMC (World Muay Thai Council) events, and many others. While training with the trainers at Chalong Chai, Sean Douglas was able to fight in and secure a victory at Thailand's prestigious Lumphini stadium.
