Alexandra Bugailiskis

Alexandra Bugailiskis

Alexandra Bugailiskis (born January 9, 1956 in Hamilton, Ontario) is a current Canadian diplomat. Since April 2007 she has been the Assistant Deputy Minister for the America's Strategy and until September 2007 also the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Cuba. She was formerly High Commissioner to Cyprus and concurrently the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Syria.

She is an alumnus of Norman Paterson School of International Affairs at Carleton University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts with honours and a [Master of Arts] .
