Kilmuckridge (Irish place name|Cill Mhucraise|) is a small village in
County Wexford in Ireland near theIrish Sea coast which is popular with weekend visitors and holidaymakers. It lies on the R742regional road km to mi | 22 | abbr=yes | precision=0 south ofGorey . The village serves the popular resort ofMorriscastle , which as the name suggests was once the site of a Medieval Norman Castle. The beach is host to many rare flora and fauna and is a nationalheritage site . Kilmuckridge boasts a number of historical buildings, restaurants and pubs, the best known hostelry being 'The Crosses'. The local shop is "Hammels".The

The village is also host to the the annual "Kilmuckridge Drama Festival", a celebration of the performing arts. Drama groups from the surrounding area participate in producing plays, and all are performed in the course of a week. The plays are judged by professional adjudicators, and a small prize giving ceremony occurs after the last production.
