Hanbhi

The Hanbhi are a sub tribe of the Alizai Kakar. Their main divisions are Adinzai, Sabdozai, Masuzai, Muradani, Salarzai, Loharzai, Sonezai, Hadezai. Languages are Pashto, Sindhi and Saraiki. They live in the North-West Frontier Province, Punjab, Balochistan provinces of Pakistan. The are settled in the following areas Quetta, Sibi, Bolan, Naseerabad, Jafarabad, Pishin, Loralai and Harnai. As well as in Afghanistan. They are basically related with business and farming.

History

The Hanbhi came from Taxila in the 19th century and settled in Balochistan. In those days the Hanbhi tribe were poor and they used to work as labourers.
