Austin Film Critics Association

The Austin Film Critics Association (AFCA) is an organization of film critics from the Austin, Texas area. The AFCA includes members from the Austin Chronicle, the Austin-American Statesman, Ain't It Cool News, [http://coleandbobby.com Cole & Bobby …at the Movies!] , News 8 Austin, [http://cinematical.com Cinematical] , film.com and [http://spill.com Spill] .

Each year, the AFCA meets to vote on their Austin Film Critics Association Awards for films released in the same calendar year. The special award, the Austin Film Award, is given each year to the best film made in Austin.
