Souris—Moose Mountain is a federal electoral district in Saskatchewan, Canada, that has been represented in the Canadian House of Commons since 1988.

Geography

This electoral district is located in southern Saskatchewan.

History

This district was created in 1987 from parts of Qu'Apelle—Moose Mountain and Assiniboia ridings.

Members of Parliament

This riding has elected the following Members of Parliament:

* 1988-1993: Leonard Gustafson - Progressive Conservative
* 1993-1997: Bernie Collins - Liberal
* 1997-2004: Roy Bailey - Reform (1997-2000), Canadian Alliance (2000-2003), Conservative (2003-2004)
* 2004-present: Ed Komarnicki - Conservative

Current Member of Parliament

Its Member of Parliament is Ed Komarnicki, a lawyer. He was first elected to Parliament in the 2004 election. He represents the Conservative Party of Canada. He is the Conservative critic for Labour and Housing. In the last parliamentary session, he served as a member on the 'Standing Committee on Human Resources, Skills Development, Social Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities'.
