Luis R. Figueroa (born February 16, 1974 in Bayamón, Puerto Rico) is a Major League Baseball infielder in the Chicago Cubs organization. Figueroa was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Pittsburgh Pirates in by|1997. Figueroa made his major league debut on July 27, by|2001, and was claimed off waivers by the New York Mets on August 15. On April 5, by|2002, Figueroa was part of a 7-player trade that sent him, Saul Rivera, Bruce Chen, and Dicky Gonzalez to the Montreal Expos for Scott Strickland, Phil Seibel, and Matt Watson. From by|2002-by|2005, Figueroa played in the minor leagues for the Expos, Mets, Brewers, and Red Sox organizations.

In by|2006, Figueroa signed a minor league contract with the Toronto Blue Jays, playing most of the season with their Triple-A affiliate, the Syracuse SkyChiefs, but was called up to play in 8 games for the major league club. A free agent at the end of the season, Figueroa signed a minor league contract with the San Francisco Giants for the by|2007 season, appearing in 6 more major league games. Figueroa signed a minor league contract with an invite to spring training with the Chicago Cubs on January 15, by|2008.
