Ken Kifer

Ken Kifer

Ken Kifer (October 23, 1945 – September 14, 2003) was a writer, bicyclist and webmaster. His [http://www.kenkifer.com/ website] is still one of the best sources of information on bicycling and especially bicycle touring. Ken Kifer was killed by a drunk driver in September 2003 while riding his bicycle just 6 miles from his home near Scottsboro, Alabama.

Ken was also a Walden scholar and admirer of Henry David Thoreau, and wrote [http://www.kenkifer.com/Thoreau/index.htm "Analysis and Notes on Walden"] .
