Ffos Las ( _en. Blue Ditch) is a rural area between the villages of
Trimsaran andCarway (Carwe) in the Gwendraeth Valley inCarmarthenshire ,Wales . Ffos Las was once the site of an open cast mining operation which operated between 1983 and 1997. * Live/work small holdingsOnce opened in 2009, the racecourse is expected to feature 16 races a year. The racetrack itself is 12 furlongs in length and there will be 120 horse boxes. The venue will have a capacity for 20,000 people.
